Walking to Help Others

This blog is designed to help readers get good care and live as fully as possible. Once a year, I use it as a soapbox to make a plea:

Please visit my Wendy's Eagles page and support my walk on April 22, 2017
to raise money for the Lymphoma Research Foundation.

Soliciting your support takes me outside my comfort zone. I do it, because...

  • Similar donations decades ago helped fund the research that led to treatments that saved my life. The only way I know to thank those donors is by supporting ongoing research.
  • Recent changes in our federal government make non-profit organizations' support of research more vital than ever.
  • I believe we can make a difference if we act together toward a common good.

Well-funded research can fulfill our shared hope that one day the words "You have cancer" will no longer elicit fear, because cancer will no longer pose a threat to life.

You can make a difference. Please help me help others. Every single dollar donation counts. Here's the link, one more time: Wendy's Donation Page        THANK YOU!
